Trevor is originally from the good part of Northern California but has called Colorado his home for most of his life. He has attended many schools and learned much, but believes more in school for the sake of education rather than just a degree. Trevor believes in in lifelong learning and will probably take more college classes in the future. He loves the team most at Amnet and believes it to be the best since we started in 1998. His strengths are in problem solving and relationship building. Trevor has a very short attention span and the fact that IT is always changing excites him and keeps him interested. Today’s problems can’t be solved with yesterday’s solutions. An avid Bronco’s fan, he loves to watch football. His favorite book is 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, and he will eat most everything that is the opposite of kale. After watching the Princess Bride dozens of times with his daughters it became his favorite movie, he also enjoys classic rock. Trevor’s favorite vacation spot is Belize, minus the mosquitos. His hobbies include spending time with family, traveling, and playing fantasy football.
Fun facts: He became an entrepreneur at the age of 9 by knocking on doors offering to wash cars for $.50. Later he had a paper route, mowed lawns, and resold candy in middle school despite threats from the school administration who didn’t appreciate him competing with the snack bar for revenue.
He first got involved with computers when he was about 10. His parents enrolled him in a computer programming class (BASIC). He learned that he loved computers but didn’t like programming.
He is passionate about helping kids in poverty discover their potential to be prosperous and inspiring them to have the confidence to make a better life for themselves.
