Network Administrator

We are hiring an experienced network administrator to provide on-site IT support for small and medium sized businesses in the Front Range area.  The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience supporting business networks.  We are looking for a network administrator who:

  • Can comfortably perform all duties of an IT department and CIO for our clients 

Responsibilities:

Interact with clients in a consultative capacity to use technology to improve their businesses.
Perform research, plan, and design for complex network configurations. The design elements may include workstations, servers, switches, routers, CSU/DSUs, and firewalls.
Repair, maintain, document, and improve client networks.
Build positive relationships with clients and become their trusted advisor.
Perform analysis of business problems and recommend IT solutions, which may include hardware, software, and training components.
Must be willing to improve skills and knowledge through ongoing training and self study.

Experience:

Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server products.
Expert level proficiency with Microsoft products especially Exchange 2003/2007 but could also include SQL, SharePoint etc.
5+ years experience in the planning, installing, and maintaining of local area networks.
Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs/fixes LAN hardware and software-related problems.
Expert level proficiency with desktop operating systems such as Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista as well as common desktop applications.

Certifications may include:

2003 MCSA/MCSE
SBSC
CompTIA A+, Net+, Server+, Security+
CCNA/CCNP

Education:

College degree or comparable industry experience.
Technical degree preferred.
